Cracking couple of hours at Pevensey with the Pimp. 6.5m and because there
was a bit of a wind shadow, I opted for my big old 125lt board. Real fast
and furious slalom day. Beautiful sunshine, long low jumps, comfortable
grooving.. Top day and bumpy stuff tomorrow I hope.
Couple hours blasting with my new \'agent\'
Minor hiccup when UJ bolt snapped while doing 24+ knots ... but having my
agent on hand worked well as he was dispatched on his first real misson, to
grab replacement from back of my van and return to save the day ... not the
quickest \'pitstop\' but we got it all back together as a working unit and
then it was a quick sail back in to apply some solarez to the minor blemish
on the deck so it didn\'t absorb any water ... not sure it was holed, but
it was \'dented\' when mastfoot pressure met deck before total seperation
Quick uv cure under sunny skies, and it was all sealed up and i was back
out to top gutted\'s top speed, by a mere 0.1 knot ... cracking bit of
slalom blasting despite the slight wind shadow close in ... even let
gutted loose on the Manta 75 & 7.0m GTX to see if he could top his navman
recorded 25 knot max speed
Good to sail with gutted, and there\'s a beer in the taps for my agent at
the fat face party, cheers buddy
